Hi, I’m Riley! I am the sole creator, owner, and artist at Laughing Lady Art. I am a traditional media artist, using a combination of soft pastels, pan pastels, and pastel pencils to create my portraits (also referred to as a pastelist). I specialize in realism and hyper-realism zoological portraiture. My subject matters range from pet memorials, to wild animal totems, to anatomical macros or focus studies. My adventures in portraiture are a way of merging two of my greatest passions - natural science and artistic expression. I hope you get even just a fraction of the amount of joy in viewing my art as I do in creating it.
